Clay Medallions

Clay Medallions
These are reusable clay medallions. I’m using several of them as moth deterrents/repellers in my closets. Since these medallions are porous, they easily soak up moth repelling essential oils.
There are a few different types of essential oils that can be used to repel moths from closets. Cedar, bergamot, and lavender essential oils are all good options to consider. Used correctly, all of these naturally occurring oils are safe for pets and people and deter moths in one way or another. Cedar is perhaps the best option for deterring Clothes Moths.
Just add a little essential oil into a small glass bowl and soak the medallions in it. Then carefully put them in a plate to dry (have the plate ready next to the bowl). Once they are dry, hang them either from hangers in the closet or anywhere moths have been seen.
You can also use them as place cards for a lunch or dinner party or as labels on drinks bottles or as a gift tag. They can be painted.
